Frederic Jonske

Frederic finished his masters degree in astrophysics at the University of Aachen (RWTH), working on machine learning-based detector calibration, before joining the TIO group at IKIM as a data scientist and PhD student. His current research explores topics such as transfer learning, multi-modal learning, and large-scale medical data integration, with applications in radiology and digital health. Currently, Frederic is the Team Lead of IKIM’s Computer Vision team and involved in teaching machine learning courses at affiliated local universities. His broader goal is to help translate cutting-edge Computer Vision research into reliable, clinically useful technologies that strengthen the data and innovation ecosystem around medical AI at IKIM.
