Helmut Becker

Helmut studied Biosciences with a focus on Bioinformatics and Biophysics at the University of Würzburg. In his master’s thesis, he investigated self-supervised learning algorithms to improve robustness and domain-adaptation for segmentation tasks in microscopy images of cells. His Ph.D. projects will center around the development of multimodal models for the use case of melanoma treatment, as he is jointly part of the RTG WisPerMed.
