Während seines Masterstudiums der Informatik arbeitete Amin in den Bereichen IT-Sicherheit und Machine Learning. Nach dem Abschluss kam er als Doktorand in die Medical-Machine-Learning-Gruppe. Sein Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Anwendung von NLP in der Medizin. Seine Projekte drehen sich um die Entwicklung deutscher Sprachmodelle und deren Anpassung an die Domäne klinischer Dokumente.
